Hämatologie

The Division of Haematology treats patients who suffer from acute and chronic, benign and malignant blood diseases. These diseases include acute and chronic leukemia, malignant lymphoma, myeloma, myeloproliferative diseases, different types of anemia and autoimmune diseases that affect the hematopoietic system and coagulation disorders. An experienced team of physicians and nurses treat our patients according to the latest international therapeutic standards. We administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and high-dose therapy as part of allogeneic or autologous stem cell transplantation. Other cell therapies involve administration of CAR-T cell products. Treatment is individualized and adapted to meet the needs of our patients. We value interdisciplinary collaboration between all occupational groups and have integrated psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and dietitians into our team. Our physicians are strongly networked both nationally and internationally and carry out innovative research projects that advance our discipline.

Hildegard Greinix

"Our goal is innovative, excellent patient-oriented hematology with individualized treatment strategies and networked, internationally competitive research and education in the interests of our patients and society."
